Shawn Barnes is a comedian and filmmaker based in New York’s Capital Region. He performs regularly at The Comedy Works, Broadway Comedy Club and Greenwich Village Comedy Club. In 2025, Shawn was voted the Capital Region’s Funniest Comic and has opened for nationally-touring headliners Neal Brennan, Todd Barry and Adrienne Iapalucci. He has performed at the Vermont Comedy Festival and the Crooked Mouth Comedy Festival. His award-winning films, Middletown and Break Glass, are streaming on Amazon Prime. He also co-hosts the comedy podcast Supersalad.
